CAV Technologies was founded by Melvin Hayes in 2009. Mr. Hayes, a Technologist, with over 30 years of professional experience, holds the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology.

Graduate Teaching Assistant – North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, Greensboro, NC, College of Technology, Department of Computer Systems Technology, June 2012 to May 2013. Responsibilities included: assisting my professor with the preparation and presentation of undergraduate courses, supervising laboratory experiments, tutoring, grading, and proctoring examinations.
Instructor – Mechatronics Engineering Technology – Vance Granville Community College, Henderson, NC, 2019 to 2023. Responsibilities included: Teaching Electronics and Mechatronics Engineering Technology courses, advising students, conducting assessments and attending staff, department, and college related meetings.
